It will not have escaped anybody's notice that Shearwater has a flying-bridge. This enables the boat to be controlled from either inside the wheelhouse or from this very high vantage point, which is extremely important in spotting sea mammals and divers!
Galley features on the boat include a sink with a fresh water supply, an electronically controlled cooker and ceramic twin hob, both of which are fuelled by diesel and a refrigerator with separate ice compartment. We also have a stainless steel gas barbecue and twin gas hob mounted on the aft deck.
The boat is also fitted for 240 volt AC shore power with integral chargers for the 4 separate battery banks (2 starting and 2 service for each hull)
Shearwater has 2 Perkins Sabre 215HP turbo diesels, giving a top speed of 25 knots, cruising at about 19/20 knots.
